This includes: Creating and growing wealth, protecting and preserving wealth, distributing wealth during life (retirement income distribution), distributing wealth in death (to heirs or charities). I encourage my clients to have a plan and involve their families prior to a physical or cognitive event. There are many financial solutions to solve these issues regardless of age or assets.

Silver Pearl provides two very special services for the peace of mind of older adults: Companion Pet Assistance and Daily Money Management. Julie’s mature and caring approach draws on her 25+ years in technology, business management, and financial management. In 2008, Julie founded a non-profit that raises money nationally to support homeless senior dogs, The Grey Muzzle Organization.

Julie has seen the profound impact that losing a pet can have on the elderly. Companion Pet Assistance is a unique, full-lifecycle set of services that helps older adults keep their pet, adopt a new pet friend, or manage difficult transitions. Pet Care Management is an ongoing service that addresses the many commitments of caring for a pet, such as feeding, exercise, grooming, veterinary visits, keeping track of vaccinations and flea control, and monitoring general health. The service starts with an in-home needs assessment followed by development of a pet care plan. In addition, she provides assistance with difficult situations, such as moving to a new community, or making arrangements when an owner can no longer care for a their pet, temporarily or long-term. Silver Pearl’s Companion Pet Assistance service ensures that older adults can enjoy the benefits of pet ownership without the worries.

Silver Pearl’s Daily Money Management service helps older adults maintain independence and gain confidence about their financial situation. As a Daily Money Manager, Julie provides seniors with “personal bookkeeping” assistance, often right in their own home. This can include bill paying, checkbook balancing, filing and organizing financial paperwork, tracking income and expenses, monitoring for “unusual” charges, and preparing documentation for tax time. Daily Money Management provides peace of mind about the financial aspects of life that can be so difficult to keep up with.

Since 2000, Thom has practiced as a Certified Financial Planner offering customized wealth management solutions to individuals and corporations. Thom has experience in helping his clients manage all financial affairs including as tax planning, estate planning, preserving and or building net worth, retirement cash-flow planning, and legacy planning.In the past, Thom has worked in private and public accounting. His skill sets includes auditing financial statements, tax planning for individuals and corporations, cash flow planning, asset protection, and risk management.

Thom received his Bachelor’s Degree’s in Accounting and Computer Science from Indiana State University.
